No, not fully. Essential cookies keep you signed in and keep your account secure. If you block them, login and chat may stop working. You can block analytics, advertising and preference cookies without breaking the basics.

Do cookies let anyone read my chats?

No. Cookies are small files that store settings and identifiers, not your messages. Mdates does not use cookies to read your private chats. Your conversations stay inside the moderated Mdates chat service.
